There are many classes to choose from. Learn to layer flavours and create blends that are at the heart of Indian cooking. Time saving techniques and creating distinct, bursting flavours are the hallmarks of each class. Each class will cover a full meal and all ingredients and recipe sheets are provided. All classes are hands-on (and lots of fun!) and we eat what we cook at the end of a class.

Booking is essential of walks and classes. Please check availabilty before sending your booking form.


All classes held in Hounslow West. We meet outside Hounslow West underground station and go to the local shop to learn about some key ingredients with which we will cook. Come back to the Cooking With Monisha Kitchen which is a 2 minute walk away and enjoy the cookery lesson.

Cook a complete meal and get tips on what you really need for your Indian spice box and kitchen cupboard! You will be surprised at how little it is!

INDIAN  BREADS

Contrary to popular belief, people in India do not eat naans on an everyday basis. In this class we will make rotis (at the heart of an Indian home meal), poories and flavoured breads. We will also make naans in the oven (they are traditionally made in a clay oven called the tandoor).  Needless to say, we will also make accompaniments to eat with the breads!

 

Many people find working with their own rolling pin easier- if this is the case, please bring your rolling pin to the class.

Learn to cook deliciously easy curries such as Jalfrezi and Bhuna that will take less time to make than walking to your local Indian. Make your favourite curries but with far less oil and fat.
