I have always been associated with television, doing a bit of presenting for children's TV as a teenager, then performing specially commissioned 'dance -for -television' pieces and later presenting an entire season of Asia 2, a magazine programme on BBC 2.

Radio has been fun too, especially Michael Van Straten's show on LBC and the many BBC channels (Regional, Asian, Everywoman) that I have been on.

In recent years, I have been a guest cookery presenter on the Carlton Food Network, Great Food Live and Spotlight Asia among others.

I was guest chef on Great Food Live and Bites (BBC's UK Food channel) for a few years.

Apart from TV work in the UK, I have done shows for the South African Broadcasting Channel (SABC) and been a judge on Iron Chef America (The Food Network, USA) and cooked for chatshow.net.
