Do I need to bring anything to the classes?

No, we provide everything including ingredients, recipes and equipment.

What should I wear to the classes?

Please wear comfortable clothes with short sleeves or sleeves that can be rolled up, and closed flat shoes that you can stand in for lengths of time.

Do you do private classes or walks?

Cooking With Monisha can tailor a class or walk to suit your needs. In the past we have done one to one classes in people's homes or at our Kitchen, classes for groups of 4 to 12, children's classes and walks for team building events.

How many students are there in a class?

The maximum number of students in a class is 8.

Will I get to cook or it is demonstration only?

Everyone who attends a Cooking With Monisha class is expected to join in the cooking. It's the only way to learn!

Are the courses suitable for beginners?

Each course is designed for a variety of abilities. The classes are very informal and easy so definitely for beginners as well!

What if I cannot make it to a class?

We regret that no refunds will be given if a cancellation arises within 48 hours of the class. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you are unable to attend a class and we will try to accommodate you in another class subject to availability and at our discretion. Alternate bookings will not be offered for cancellations within 48 hours of a class.

What if a class is cancelled by the School?

In the unfortunate event that a class has to be cancelled we will try and give you as much notice as possible and you will be offered the choice of an alternative class or a full refund. We will not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur. If you need to arrange overnight accommodation in order to attend a class, we recommend that you seek appropriate insurance.

How long are the gift vouchers valid for?

The gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Is my booking transferrable?

No, as we take into account food intolerances and allergies of individuals.

Is there a minimum age?

Scheduled classes are for participants aged 16 and over, but people under 18 need to be accompanied by a paying adult. We also do bespoke classes for children.
